Usually when someone comes to us for breast augmentation surgery, they expect their new implants to bring them renewed self-confidence and a happiness about the way they look and feel about themselves. They don’t expect their enhanced breasts to save their life. However, that’s exactly what one Canadian woman claims happened to her.
According to the woman, Eileen Likness, in 2006, her ex-boyfriend shot her at point blank range and the bullet pierced both of her implants, preventing her from sustaining fatal injuries. Forever grateful to her now ruined breast implants, she knew what she had to do once her injuries from the shooting healed: get new implants. Which she has done, and we think is wonderful.
